Since April 2012, Eufemia has been accredited as a COORDINATION, SEND and RECEPTION body for the European Voluntary Service. EVS offers young people aged 17 to 30 an intercultural learning experience in a non-formal context, promotes their social integration and active participation.
Young people can carry out a voluntary activity in a country of the program or outside Europe, for a period ranging from 2 to 12 months, working as “European volunteers” in local projects in various sectors or areas of intervention: culture, youth, sport, social assistance, cultural heritage, art, leisure time, civil protection, environment, cooperative development, etc.
Since 2018, EVS projects have converged into the European Solidarity Corps (European Solidarity Corps), a new initiative promoted by the European Commission that offers young people (18-30) opportunities for work, training and volunteering, in their own country or abroad, in projects aimed at helping communities or populations in Europe. To apply, you must be registered on the platform.
The projects were funded by the EU, which covers travel, food, accommodation and insurance costs for the duration of the mobility, in addition to providing monthly support directly to the volunteer.
